STEPS IN TRAINING  for religious life  with the blue sisters:

Luz Maria.jpg

I was born in Toulouse, in the south of France in 1811.

From a very young age, what the poorest have been going through breaks my heart.

The privileged environment in which I grew up did not prevent me from seeing this reality made up of a lot of injustice and suffering...

God spoke to me through multiple voices… many questions arose in me: what does God want from me?

Time for discernment and prayer to know the way.

I responded to that voice...

_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_          … to these voices, to a clear and profound call...

I told my father about my decision:

     - “Father, it is for God that I leave you: “I want to serve the poor…”

On December 8, 1836, in the church of La Platé, in Castres, I realized my dream and I began, with two companions, the path of Soeur Bleue.

We want to live adeep and simple brotherhood, committed to Jesus the Savior in God's plan of love for the peoples.

God Alone will be the center of our life, not “me alone”.

Mary Immaculate will teach us to see reality, the world, others, with spotless eyes, as God sees them.

"It is for God that I leave you. I want to serve the poor."

1. Meeting of young researchers

Lhe vocational motivation, the starting point of the formation itinerary of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Castres (Blue Sisters), is the foundation, the lit flame, the living water, which will sustain, enlighten, excite , giving meaning and quenching thirst at every stage of the training process.

That is why it is so important to discover and clarify it. Only in this way is it possible to live the Gospel key: "He who finds a treasure hidden in a field will sell all that he has and will buy this field" (Mt 13,44)._cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
After accompaniment and discernment in the Christian community, which is done through the vocations animation service, the young woman who wishes to know more about the Congregation will be accompanied by a sister prepared for this ministry.

Any accompaniment always starts from a vital experience, historical or current, which involves the whole person, with its riches, its gifts, its limits, its difficulties, its own rhythm. Emilie de Villeneuve's experience was an opening to God alone, gathering all the manifestations of this absolute presence of God in her life, acquiring this ever deeper knowledge of the God of Mercy._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

2. The postulate.

Postulancy in the Congregation of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Castres - Thesisters Bleues - is the stage in which the young woman begins the experience of life in a Community of the Congregation in order to clarify and define her vocational motivations.

It is the privileged space for the encounter with itself, with its history and with Jesus the Saviour.

It's a moment to approach and know the person of Emilie de Villeneuve:

  • his life as a disciple of Jesus Savior,

  • his charism/spirituality, in a fraternal experience of community life,

  • assuming contacts and mission commitments with the poor and suffering members of Jesus Christ.

"come and follow me..."
(sr.  maria veronese)

In the footsteps of Emilie, a woman on the way, we find in a striking way  the dominant elements of her spirituality, God - the poor.
